Our Origin Story
Head Space Design Lab emerged during the pandemic with a bold vision: to rethink innovation—fast, focused, and fearless. Based in Santa Cruz, we united top engineers, designers, and visionaries from elite performance, science, and sport. Our shared belief: helmet design can be better, smarter, and more human.
Instead of launching our own helmet line, we chose a bolder path—empowering others. We revived a state-of-the-art testing lab, fused science with design, and focused on what matters most: protecting the human brain.
